Chief's Certified Partner Program is Here!

Over the past several months you have undoubtedly heard or seen many references to the Chief Certified Partner Program. We have spent over 3500 development hours to bring a one-of-a-kind, robust program to help DRIVE our dealer and installer partners to even greater success. It contains over 13 hours of interactive content and more than 40+ videos featuring products and installation solutions shown in the environments where they do business such as schools, homes, corporate offices, lobbies, and more.

It's important to note that this is something our customers have been asking for, and we've tailored the program just for them. However it's also a great opportunity for everyone on the Milestone team to learn more about our products and solutions. Plus, you are also eligible for applicable program rewards, including the ability to earn CTS RUs or Cedia CEUs if needed!

For those employees and rep partners who interface with our customers regularly, please take the time to get certified by April 22nd when we launch to our customers.

Please note that this is a pre-launch for Milestone employees and Rep Groups only. The full launch to customers will happen on April 22nd.

What is DRIVE?
This dynamic program is centered on a theme that encompasses the key benefits our customers want from an online training resource to help DRIVE success:

D- Differentiate from the competition
R- Improve business Results
I- Be Informed & Educated on mount selection and installation techniques
V- Get VIP treatment with exclusive business-building rewards
E- Earn industry renewal credits

You will see this campaign theme throughout the marketing materials, and it will also be used to communicate the program benefits to customers.

About Certification - http://certificationtest.chiefmfg.com
A new website launched recently, outlining the program benefits, why and how to certify, and the rewards for completing the program. This is also where you will go to sign up for the program and begin your training.

Note: When the program officially launches on April 22nd, the new URL will be http://certification.chiefmfg.com (omitting the word "test").

Getting Started
It will take you approximately 3-6 hours to complete the program based on the markets you choose so please plan accordingly. As with our customers, you can do it as time permits, coming back into the site if you cannot complete the entire program all at once.

You must choose three markets to get certified but ideally we would like you to take all of the optional market courses as well.

    •    Open your web browser and go to http://certificationtest.chiefmfg.com
    •    Select your region
    •    Log in or register to create an account*
    •    Complete the registration form, using INTERNAL00 as your Dealer number
    •    Choose the three markets that most interest you
    •    Begin the program!

* If you have registered for an account on the Chief website, your username and password will be the same.

Important Notes:
    •    The program will not run through the Milestone VPN
    •    Browser requirements include a broadband internet connection, a modern web browser such as Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3, Safari 4 or Google Chrome), and Adobe Flash Player 9 or above
    •    If you require a browser upgrade, or encounter other computer issues, please submit an IT ticket

A pre-launch package is available now for download by clicking the link below. The package contains the following tools:

    •    Certified Partner Program Brochure
    •    DRIVE Overview and Marketing Schedule Presentation
    •    Welcome Letter

In the coming weeks, Customer Service, Sales and Rep Groups will receive hard copies of the pre-launch package, including a pack of 10 printed brochures. Additional brochures and materials can be requested from Amy Reusse at amy.reusse@milestone.com.
