Short Throw Mounts Stand Out from the Competition

Greetings!  As you may have heard, Chief launched an all-new short throw projector mount at InfoComm 2009, that began shipping August 3rd. This is momentous in several ways, but primarily because it’s a new product category for Chief! The product was not designed to compete with short throw competitive solutions, but rather was designed with patented features that make the product different – better! Among the top differentiating features are industry-first micro adjustments of height and leveling that allow the installer to position the projector perfectly, taking into account stud location and projector weight drag. The dual-stud version of the product spans two studs, and provides up to 13” (33 kg) post-installation lateral shift – once again making it faster to install and position, saving valuable time and money. Chief’s short throw mount has telescoping extension, and manages cables by concealing them within the mount. Compatible with Chief’s industry-standard RPA® and RPA Elite® (RPM) projector mounts, Chief’s new short throw projector mount, together with another category-first Chief whiteboard mount, provide a complete solution.
